Treetops offers specialised learning for 3 year olds, set in a purpose-built space and with direct access to an outdoor classroom.

A Seamless Transition

Children move from The Nest into Treetops during the term in which they turn three, with flexible start dates throughout the year. Each child’s education and transition is tailored to their individual stage of development.

Learning is play-based, with reading, writing, and number skills woven into engaging, age-appropriate activities.

Our focus is on nurturing motor, intellectual, creative, social, and language development in a warm, family-style environment.

Nursery children enjoy specialist-taught sessions in French, swimming, PE, music, and weekly woodland classroom activities-encouraging curiosity and a love of learning from the start.

Our caring staff ensure every child feels happy, valued, and supported. Most children progress to Reception in theacademic year they turn five, well-prepared for the next stage of their education at Mowden Hall.
